Adaptable for Unique EOD Render Safe Operations
The suite of EOD tool heads allow your operator to address field challenges with the right tools for the job. These interchangeable tool heads are each uniquely designed to manage typical device components like wires, cables, screws and more.
Tool heads labeled with “LCC” are compatible with both the LCC and MCC handle. The LCC tool heads can be directly attached to the LCC handle, and attached to the MCC handle using the LCC-to-MCC Adapter, enabling greater versatility in the field. However, tool heads labeled with “MCC” are not compatible for use with the LCC handle.
All of the EOD tool heads will fit through a Ø1.00 inch penetration hole or insertion point.
Made from a combination of aircraft-grade aluminum and hardened steel, these tool heads will provide long-term service for your EOD render safe operations.

LCC Tool Heads
Side Cutter (Pt#210)
Ideal for cutting wire and like materials up to gauge 3 AWG wire, or Ø.229 inch (5.83 mm) in diameter.
Flat Nose Plier (Pt#220)
Ideal for gripping wire and like materials. Pliers open up to Ø.90 inch (22.9 mm) at widest point, and fully collapse upon closure. Jaws are coated with electrically isolating paint, reducing risk of unintended electrical contact when manipulating charged components.
Needle Nose Plier (Pt#230)
Ideal for gripping wire and like materials. Pliers open up to Ø.96 inch (24.4 mm) at widest point, and fully collapse upon closure. Jaws are serrated, giving the operator improved grip on device components.
Scissor Head (Pt#240)
Ideal for cutting wire and like materials up to gauge 3 AWG wire, or Ø.229 inch (5.83 mm) in diameter.
Nipper Head (Pt#250)
Ideal for grabbing wire and like materials up to gauge 1 AWG wire, or Ø.289 inch (7.35 mm) in diameter.
Double Shear (Pt#260)
Ideal for shearing wire and like materials up to gauge 3 AWG wire, or Ø.229 inch (5.83 mm) in diameter. Produces a 1/16th inch sliver of removed material upon shearing.
Razor Blade Kit (Pt#270)
Ideal for cutting wire, film and similar thin materials. Kit includes total of six uniquely shaped blades.
Pincher (Pt#280)
Ideal for gripping wire-like materials, screws and non-uniform components.
MCC Tool Heads
MCC-to-LCC Adapter (Pt#310)
The Adapter allows an LCC tool head or LCC extension to be mounted on the MCC handle or an MCC extension. The mechanical design allows virtually 100% of the MCC force to be translated into LCC tool head.
Cutter Head (Pt#330)
The MCC Cutter is ideal for cutting thicker gauge wire and shielded cable up to gauge 0 AWG wire, or Ø.325 inch (8.25 mm) in diameter. Produces a 0.15 inch slug of removed material.
Talon Head (Pt#380)
The MCC Talon is a cable shunting device that allows shorting of a shielded cable without cutting.
The MCC Talon drive head is intended for standard coax and wires between Ø .125 and Ø.25 inch (3 to 6 mm) in diameter.
The Talon Head shunting device design is centered on the typical Type ‘C’ High Voltage Coaxial Cable that is sized Ø .195” in diameter.
Deployable Pin
The Talon Head utilizes a “bed of nails” type of arrangement in a small deployable pin head that is driven by the MCC Talon head. This deployable pin is proven to produce a remarkable 0% failure in shunted cable.
The MCC kit comes with only XXX deployable pins.
