about us

Yeamans Machine Shop was founded in 1974 in Bill Yeamans’ garage. In 1990 the shop was moved to its current location by Bill’s sons Andy and Steve. In 1994 they acquired their first CNC mill, and it became apparent that that would be the first of many NC machines they would purchase over the years. Bill and Steve have both passed away, but Andy is still running the business and is training his son Pat to take over.

Today the shop employs five machinists, including Andy and Pat, and an office manager. The shop floor has six CNC mills, two of which are full 5-axis capable, and has two CNC lathes, one with milling capabilities. Various manual mills and lathes supplement the equipment list.

At YMS we strive to provide precision parts on our customers’ time scale. All of our CNC machines are programmed using GibbsCAM which helps us ensure speed and accuracy.

We look forward to doing business with you.
